Members list their "offers" and "wants" in a directory, which is updated regularly and distributed to all memebers. These members can by anything they wants using GODALMING WATTS, the currency used instead of money. This is possible because everybody gets a "cheque book", and they can buy goods and services by writing cheques in the normal way. It is also completely interest free!
So There's Absolutely NO Money Involved Then?
There is a small joining fee of £5 and 5 WATTS, and an annual subscription of £3 and 10 WATTS to cover administration costs. The WATTS are deducted automatically from your account. You can always charge some sterling as well as WATTS in a transaction to cover material costs, fuel e.t.c.
